Featuring an exposed thermistor that results in an extremely rapid response time, the Surface Temperature Sensor is ideal for situations in which low thermal mass or flexibility are required, or for a skin temperature measurement. For use in air only.

For experiments that require measurements of more extreme temperatures, we have this sensor that uses a type-K thermocouple wire to measure the difference in temperature between its two junctions. It can be used over the range of -200 C to 1400C (10C). It is great for studying flame temperatures.
Use our Turbidity Sensor to measure the turbidity of freshwater or seawater samples.
The UVA or UVB Sensor is an ultraviolet light sensor for LabPro, ULI, Serial Box Interface, CBL 2, and the original CBL. Two different UV sensors are available: one responds primarily to UVA radiation, and another responds primarily to UVB radiation.
One Voltage Probe is included with each Vernier LabPro, ULI, or Serial Box Interface, as well as with each TI CBL or CBL 2. In physics classes, it can be used to measure the potential in direct-current or alternating-current circuits. In chemistry, physical science, or middle school science classes, students can measure voltages developed in a variety of electrochemical (voltaic) cells. Note: If you want to make differential measurements, we have the differential voltage probe.
Water Quality with Vernier has 16 water quality tests, including pH, total dissolved solids, dissolved oxygen, BOD, flow rate, turbidity, nitrates, and phosphates. All nine tests in the Water Quality Index (WQI) are supported. Each book has water quality tests for eleven Vernier water quality sensors.
